Just a short walk from Lookout Point you will discover the village of Deep Cove which
offers shops, restaurants and a local theater. The 'Cove' also offers a boat and kayak center where you can rent
a kayak or canoe for an adventure up the Arm.
In the summer, enjoy the scheduled outdoor music concerts in the heart of the Cove, take a stroll through Panorama Park or go for a swim at the beach.
For the more active, there are breathtaking hikes on the Baden Powell trail to be conquered. The Quarry Rock hike in particular offers beautiful ocean and mountain views. For the mountain bikers, Deep Cove trails are world renowned.
In the winter months, you can travel in under 15 minutes to Mt.Seymour, 20 minutes to Grouse Mtn, and 25 minutes to Cypress Mtn, the trio of Vancouver's downhill skiing/snowboarding mountains. Whistler/Blackcomb Village, past venue for the 2010 Winter Olympic events, is only 90 minutes away via the Sea to Sky Highway.
